Sweeeeeeeden

Today we spent the day in Visby Sweden on an island called Gotland. How amazing to be in places I didn't even know existed! And the colors and textures of the place were amazing. I walked through medieval churchs and buildings feeling the history and the people that had been there before. I walked through narrow passageways to the tops of walls thinking of who else had touched those walls over the last 800 years..people just like me only a little more dressed! I marveled at how this part of the world stays connected to their history and maintains these places with such great care. My love for my 86 year old house has grown and I look forward to bringing out its character and appreciating it for what it is...and I have some new ideas for it from being here...Can you say moat??
